I live next to the river and the dike breaks my family and I are going for a swim. Not only is there a fast approaching flood the waters are icy cold which creates a bad combo. I have faith in the sandbagging efforts but there is always a worst case scenario. We have family and friends staying at our house (one from Japan and one from France)

This is suppose to be worse then the '97 flood.

yeah, it should not be too bad. I wish I could go and take pictures of the river but it is best that they prevent people from going near the levees/sandbags/dikes.

good to hear. yea, i spent a day on the Main Ave bridge the day of the crest and took some pictures, seemed like the only place anyone was allowed...which is good for the safety of the town! :)
